Teens Robbed by Man with Dreadlocks in Glen Burnie

Glen Burnie, MD — Two teenagers were victims of an armed robbery late Monday night in Glen Burnie.

The incident occurred around 10:30 pm on July 23, when the teens were walking along the 7400 block of Ritchie Highway. They were approached by an armed suspect described as a black male in his 30s with dreadlocks and a hat. The suspect demanded money from the teens and then fled the scene.

Despite efforts by officers and a K-9 unit to canvass the area, the suspect remains at large. The Northern District Detective Unit has taken over the investigation.
