Three Leading Candidates for Governor in New Jersey Have Endorsed Jackson’s Column L Trump Ticket

October 31, 2024

JACKSON, NJ – Three of the major candidates running for governor in 2025 in New Jersey have officially endorsed the Jackson Township Republican Club’s Column L ticket on Election Day.

Former State Senator Edward Durr, known as “Ed the Trucker,” has officially endorsed Nino Borrelli, Mordy Burnstein, and Giuseppe Palmeri for council under the “Trump Team” banner. Durr visited Jackson on Wednesday to speak before township Republicans alongside his opponent Bill Spadea, a New Jersey 101.5 radio talk show host.

“I am proud to support the Republican ticket here in Jackson,” Durr told Republicans at the meeting.

Over the weekend, Jack Ciattarelli, candidate for New Jersey Governor, also signaled his support for the Column L team.

“I am proud to join Republican leaders from across Jackson Township, Ocean County & the state in full support of Borrelli, Burnstein, and Palmeri for Jackson Township Council. The Column L team stands with President Trump & is fighting hard to keep Jackson affordable and safe. Voting is now open. Do your part & vote Column L for Jackson,” Ciattrelli said.

Their opponent, Elenor Hannum, lambasted Ocean County and state Republican leaders for their endorsements, calling Republicans up and down the 2024 Trump line on the ballot “sellouts”.

Spadea, considered the conservative frontrunner in the election, dismissed Hannum’s wild accusations and endorsed the Column L ticket.

“Now more than ever, we need solid conservative Republicans elected, from President Donald Trump all the way down to the local level. We can’t afford to let radical Democrats or RINOs gain ground anywhere. In Jackson Township, that means voting for your Column B Republican Team from top to bottom and then moving over and voting for the Column L team of Nino Borrelli, Mordechai Burnstein & Giuseppe Palmeri,” Spadea said. “Jackson needs their proven Republican leadership to stay the course! This team will keep your taxes low, support the men and women of the Police Department, fight overdevelopment, and ensure that you can continue to enjoy the quality of life in Jackson that you love.”
