Crash investigators work to determine exactly what happened in fatal Reisterstown Road collision
BALTIMORE COUNTY, Md. — A 72-year-old woman died after a two-vehicle collision on Reisterstown Road Wednesday afternoon, prompting an ongoing investigation by Baltimore County’s Crash Team.
The crash occurred at approximately 3:45 p.m. on June 3 near Shetland Circle, according to the Baltimore County Police Department.
Investigators said the collision involved a 2017 Nissan Sentra and a 2023 Toyota RAV4.
When officers arrived, they found the driver of the Nissan injured. The driver, identified as 72-year-old Francine White, was transported to a nearby hospital, where she was later pronounced dead.
A preliminary investigation determined that the Nissan was traveling northbound on Reisterstown Road and attempting to make a left turn from the center turn lane into a parking lot when it collided with the southbound Toyota RAV4.
Police have not released information regarding injuries to anyone in the Toyota.
The circumstances surrounding the crash remain under investigation by members of the Baltimore County Police Department’s Crash Team.
