BALTIMORE, Md. — A reward of up to $6,000 is being offered as Baltimore homicide detectives search for answers in the fatal stabbing of a man in downtown Baltimore.

Investigators are seeking information in the killing of Lamont Goodin, who was stabbed to death on May 30 in the unit block of West Baltimore Street, according to the Baltimore Police Department.

Authorities have released a public appeal through Metro Crime Stoppers in hopes of generating new leads in the homicide investigation.

Police have not released details regarding a suspect or the circumstances leading up to the stabbing.

Metro Crime Stoppers announced that tipsters whose information leads to felony charges and an arrest may be eligible for a reward of up to $6,000.
