Man walks into Baltimore hospital after late-night shooting in Southeast

BALTIMORE, MD – A 40-year-old man arrived at a local hospital late Wednesday night with a gunshot wound, prompting Southeast District detectives to launch a shooting investigation after determining the incident occurred on North Glover Street.

The victim walked into the hospital around 11:30 p.m., suffering from what medical personnel described as a non-life-threatening gunshot wound. Hospital staff contacted police, who responded to interview the man and begin tracing the shooting scene.

Investigators have since linked the shooting to the 400 block of North Glover Street, a residential stretch in Southeast Baltimore. It remains unclear what led to the gunfire or whether the victim provided details on the suspect or suspects involved.

No arrests have been announced, and police have not released information on a motive. Detectives spent early Thursday canvassing the area and reviewing surveillance footage in an attempt to identify those responsible.

The victim is expected to recover, and the investigation remains active. Authorities are asking anyone with information to contact Southeast District detectives or submit an anonymous tip to Metro Crime Stoppers.
