Woman shot just after midnight in Northwest Baltimore
BALTIMORE, MD – A 37-year-old woman was wounded in a shooting early Thursday morning on Liberty Heights Avenue, prompting an investigation by Northwest District detectives.
Police responded to the 3500 block of Liberty Heights Avenue at approximately 12:56 a.m. on December 4 for a report of gunfire. When officers arrived, they found the woman suffering from apparent gunshot wounds.
She was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment. Her injuries are believed to be non-life-threatening, according to police.
No suspect information has been released, and the motive behind the shooting remains unclear. Detectives are working to determine the circumstances leading up to the incident and are urging anyone with knowledge of the case to come forward.
