$100K Powerball ticket still unclaimed
YORK COUNTY, PA — A Powerball ticket worth $100,000 was sold at a country store in York County for Wednesday’s drawing, but the winner has yet to come forward to claim the five-figure prize.
The lucky ticket, sold at Twin Pine Farm Country Store in North Codorus Township, matched four of the five white balls — 6, 24, 39, 43, 51 — plus the red Powerball 2. The prize doubled from $50,000 to $100,000 thanks to the player opting for the $1 Power Play multiplier, which was two for the draw.
The store, located at 1428 Seven Valleys Road, will receive a $500 bonus for selling the winning ticket.
As of Thursday, the winning ticket remains unclaimed. Pennsylvania Lottery officials remind players that all tickets must be validated and signed to initiate the prize claim process. Powerball winners in Pennsylvania have one year from the draw date to collect their winnings.
More than 20,900 other Pennsylvania Lottery tickets won prizes in the same drawing, including over 4,900 with Power Play and 3,300 with Double Play.
The Powerball jackpot has now climbed to an estimated annuity of $179 million — or $80.8 million as a cash payout — ahead of the next drawing on Saturday.
