NEW YORK, NY – The New York City Police Department is searching for a suspect who chased down a woman to steal her purse in broad daylight on a busy street. The incident happened on September 28th, but police today released security footage that captured the incident.
“We are asking for your assistance in identifying this male who is seen in the below video violently attempting steal a purse. The incident happened near Willoughby Avenue and St Edwards Street on September 28, 2021 just before 5 pm,” the NYPD 88th Precinct said.
