by Charlie Dwyer

FOREST PARK, OH – A shooting that took place in Forest Park on Tuesday has been deemed a case of mistaken identity according to police. Isaiah Gray shot a man outside of his Raphael Place home Tuesday who he thought had threatened to shoot up his home. Gray decided to strike first, shooting the man multiple times from across the street. The man was struck once in the elbow and at least one of Gray’s poorly aimed shots ended up in a neighbor’s home. Four people were inside the home at the time, but luckily, none were struck.

Police said Gray’s gun was stolen. He was charged with assault, discharging a firearm and receiving stolen property. His bail was set at $130,000.
