Motorcyclist, 68 killed in Crash in Mays Landing

MAYS LANDING, NJ – A 68-year-old motorcyclist was killed in a single-vehicle crash, the Hamilton Police Department reported on Tuesday.

According to a statement released by the Hamilton Township Police Department, “On February 27th, 2022 the Township of Hamilton Police Department responded to the area of Harding Highway and Walkers Forge Road in Mays Landing for a motor vehicle crash involving a single motorcycle.”

The driver of the motorcycle, Gorman Carey, 68, of Estell Manor NJ, was pronounced dead at the scene. 

“The case is currently under investigation by the Township of Hamilton Police Department and The Atlantic County Medical Examiner’s Office assisted on scene,” the department said.
