Fire Breaks Out In Jackson At New Apartment Complex Under Construction

JACKSON, NJ – In the frigid midnight hour early this morning, multiple officers raced to The Paragon apartment complex on the corner of North New Prospect and Larsen Road after a concerned passerby reported that one of the buildings, which is under construction, was on fire.

Officers reported flames shooting up from all three floors of the building located on the southeast side of the property off Larson Road. Jackson Fire Stations 54, 55, 56 and 57 were quickly on the scene battling the blaze along with the assistance of Southward and Freewood Acres Fire Departments from Howell. The fire was extinguished with the effort of all involved.

The Ocean County Fire Marshal responded to the complex fire and the investigation is ongoing. It is being conducted by Jackson Police Detective Anthony Riso and the Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office.
