Watch: Car Stolen with Two Children Inside Recovered by Police

COLUMBUS, OH – Columbus Police Officers recovered a stolen car with the children on the victim still inside. Police said the car was stolen after a mother put her two young daughters in the car.

At around 4:13 pm on Wednesday, the victim’s vehicle was stolen from the area of Denver Ave and Maryland Ave.

“The victim’s 1 and 3-year-old daughters were inside the vehicle at the time. Officers immediately began to circulate the area for the children and vehicle,” CPD said. “The vehicle was recovered with both children safely inside a short period later. The children and vehicle were returned to the mother.The suspects fled before officers located the vehicle.”
