Sparta Power Outage Caused by Rollover Vehicle Crash

SPARTA, NJ – Police in Sparta reported the cause of a power outage in the area of Wisconsin Street and South K. Street was caused when a vehicle crashed into a telephone. The crash happened Tuesday night at around 8:23 pm. Police said Jacob Kimpel, 29, Sparta was driving eastbound on Wisconsin Sreet when he veered off the roadway, struck a utility pole and his vehicle rolled over. He was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
