Drive-by Shooting Targets Home in Cherry Hill

CHERRY HILL, NJ – A drive-by shooting in Cherry Hill appeared to target a home on the 600 block of Woodland Avenue Tuesday morning.

Police said at approximately 12:28 AM Cherry Hill Police Officers responded to the 600 block of Woodland Avenue for multiple reports of shots fired in the area.

“Arriving Officers located the targeted residence which had been struck numerous times by the gunfire. Officers immediately checked inside and found the family was unharmed. The area was flooded by patrol units checking for the shooter(s) but no suspects were located,” the department said. “Later investigators at the scene conducted numerous interviews and collected evidence suggesting the shots were fired from a white sport utility vehicle, possibly a Range Rover, occupied by more than one person. The safety of the public remains the Cherry Hill Police Department’s top priority as we actively and aggressively investigate those responsible for this violent crime.”
