21-Year-Old Woman Shot and Killed Sunday Night in Camden

CAMDEN, NJ – Gun violence due to illegal guns in the hands of illegal gun owners in New Jersey’s inner cities is continuing through the summer. On Sunday night, a 21-year-old woman was shot and killed just before midnight.

According to police, at 11:48 p.m., Camden County Police Department received a Shot Spotter alert in the 1500 block of Admiral Wilson Blvd.

“Police officers responded to the area. Police were later notified that the victim, Paopei Goodman, 21, was transported to Cooper University Medical Center. Goodman, of Camden, was pronounced deceased at 12:02 a.m. on July 11, by Dr. Negron- Nunez,” the Camden County Police Department reported.
