Two Charged for Shooting Murder in Jersey City

JERSEY CITY, NJ – Police in Jersey City have arrested two men in connection with a deadly shooting that took place in the city on June 12th.

Quadre Domnie, 21, of Jersey City, and Jekhi Wade, 19, of North Plainfield were both charged with murder and conspiracy to commit murder.

According to police, on Sunday, June 12, at approximately 11:15 p.m., the Jersey City Police Department received a report of shots fired in the area Forrest Street and Martin Luther King Drive.

“An injured male victim of the shooting – later identified as Kyle Howard, 34, of Newark, was privately transported to Jersey City Medical Center. He was pronounced dead at approximately 12:45 a.m. on June 13,” police said.

Both were arrested without incident in the evening hours of Monday in the area of Cator Avenue and Rose Avenue in Jersey City.

Domnie and Wade are being held at the Hudson County Correctional Facility pending their first court appearances.
