Wicomico County Sheriff's Office Asking for Public's Assistance in Shooting

SALISBURY, MD – The Wicomico County Sheriff’s Office is asking the public to assist with a shooting investigation for an incident that happened two weeks ago.

According to police, on August 8, deputies responded to the 100 block of Honeysuckle Dr, Salisbury in reference to a complaint of reported shots fired in the area.

“Through the investigation, it was learned that multiple unknown subjects arrived at the residence in a stolen vehicle and committed a home invasion,” the department said in a statement. “During the home invasion, the victim and the suspects exchanged gunfire. The suspects then fled the scene in the stolen vehicle. The stolen vehicle was recovered several days later and evidence indicates that one of the suspects may have been injured during the course of the home invasion.”

The Wicomico County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigation Division is asking the public for assistance in identifying the involved subjects.
