NEWARK, NJ – Police Seek the Public’s Help Locating Missing 48-Year-Old Man Suffering Schizophrenia and Anxiety

Newark Public Safety Director Fritz G. Fragé seeks the public’s help in locating Luis Feliciano-Rivera, 48, who was reported missing on September 15, 2022.

Mr. Feliciano-Rivera, who is diagnosed with schizophrenia and anxiety, was last seen at South 7th Street near Central Avenue. He is from Puerto Rico and has only been in the U.S. for three days.

Detectives investigating this incident seek the public’s help in quickly locating Mr. Feliciano-Rivera. He is described as 5’6” tall and 140 pounds. He has salt and pepper hair and brown eyes. Mr. Feliciano-Rivera is wearing gray sweatpants with black lines on the side, a gray shirt with a black vest on top, and black sneakers. He has a tattoo of a skull on upper left arm.

Director Fragé urges anyone with information about the whereabouts of Luis Feliciano-Rivera to call the Police Division’s 24-hour Crime Stopper tip line at 1-877-NWK-TIPS (1-877-695-8477). All anonymous Crime Stopper tips are kept confidential and could result in a reward.
