NEW YORK – A 24-year-old man was assaulted and robbed Tuesday night while on the 1 train at the Rector Street station in downtown Manhattan. The attack took place at around 3:50 am when an unidentified black male suspect approached the victim and proceeded to punch and bite the man.
The suspect robbed the man and fled the scene. No arrests have been made.
