$250,000 lottery ticket sold in Cape May

CAPE MAY, NJ – One lucky lottery player in Cape May got a huge Christmas bonus last week. A ticket sold in the county was worth $250,000 for matching five out of six balls Thursday night.

According to the New Jersey Lotter Commission, The Pick-6 drawing on Thursday, December 22, produced five winners matching five out of the six white balls drawn. Two of those players had the 3X multiplier winning $7,032, while three others took home winnings totaling $9,376. The Multiplier is randomly computer generated for each ticket at the time of purchase and is included in the base price of a wager.

The winning numbers for the Thursday, December 22, drawing were: 01, 04, 09, 31, 37, and 44. An additional 5,182 New Jersey players took home an estimated $47,290 in prizes. The $2.6 million drawing will be held Monday, December 26, 2022.
