18-Year-Old Woman Charged in Stabbing Death of Teen Girl in East Columbus

COLUMBUS, OH – An 18-year-old woman, Bryanna Barozzini, has been arrested and charged with murder in connection with the fatal stabbing of a teenage girl on Sunday, in east Columbus. Officers were dispatched to the 5600 block of Emporium Square after receiving reports of a stabbing incident. Upon arrival, they discovered 17-year-old Halia Culbertson suffering from a life-threatening stab wound. Emergency personnel transported Culbertson to the hospital in critical condition, but unfortunately, she succumbed to her injuries a short time later.

Homicide investigators identified Barozzini as the primary suspect in the case and took her into custody. As the investigation continues, authorities are urging anyone with information about the incident or the individuals involved to come forward. The Columbus Police Department is committed to solving this crime and ensuring justice for the victim and her family.
