Missing Person Alert: Newark Police Seek Help in Locating 77-Year-Old Woman with Dementia”

NEWARK, NJ – Newark Public Safety Director Fritz G. Fragé is requesting the public’s help in locating Maria Milagros Lagrandiel, a 77-year-old woman suffering from dementia. Ms. Lagrandiel was reported missing Tuesday, and was last seen at Taylor Street near Broadway at around 2:19 AM.

Ms. Lagrandiel was wearing a black hat, a multi-colored short-sleeved shirt, tan pants rolled into shorts, and black shoes with white soles. She is also missing her right pinky finger and speaks only Spanish. She was observed carrying clothing and paperwork stuffed down the front of her shirt.

Director Fragé urges anyone with information about the whereabouts of Maria Milagros Lagrandiel to call the Police Division’s 24-hour Crime Stopper tip line at 1-877-NWK-TIPS (1-877-695-8477). All anonymous Crime Stopper tips are kept confidential and could result in a reward.
