65-Year-Old Dead In D.C. Shooting

WASHINGTON, D.C. –  A man was shot and killed in Southeast D.C. on Saturday afternoon. The incident happened at the 3400 block of A Street.

Shortly before 1 pm, officers from the D.C. Metro Police Department arrived at the location to investigate a report of a shooting. Police found 65-year-old Wendell Davis suffering from a gunshot wound. Davis taken to a nearby hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.
