MIAMI, FL – Ochopee resident Alexander Osceola, 59, claimed a $1 million prize from the Florida Lottery’s 500X THE CASH Scratch-Off game. He opted for a one-time, lump-sum payment of $820,000.00.

The winning ticket was purchased from Publix, located at 13820 Southwest 88th Street in Miami, and the retailer will receive a $2,000 bonus commission.

The $50 game offers the best odds to become an instant millionaire, with a top prize of $25 million—the largest ever offered on a Florida Scratch-Off game—and overall odds of winning at 1-in-4.50.
