Police say attack on 44-year-old-man in Hell’s Kitchen was motivated by anti-gay bias

NEW YORK, NY – On April 5th, 2023, at approximately 11:30 pm, a 44-year-old male was assaulted by seven unknown individuals in front of 610 10th Avenue in Hells Kitchen in Manhattan.

The victim was attacked unprovoked, made the target of anti-gay slurs, and then stabbed in the thigh. The individuals fled the scene in different directions, and the victim was taken to Mount Sinai West Hospital for medical attention.
