Couple sought in attack at Queens subway station

NEW YORK CITY, NY – Detectives with the NYPD’s 106th Precinct are searching for a couple wanted for an attack on train last week inside a Queens subway station.

The New York City Police Department seeking the public’s assistance in identifying two individuals connected to an assault that occurred on a northbound “A” train at the 88 Street train station on April 10, 2023.

The 31-year-old female victim was engaged in a dispute with an unknown male and female before they punched and kicked her multiple times.

A Good Samaritan intervened, pushing the assailants off the victim before they boarded another northbound train.

The victim sustained pain and swelling to her body as a result of the attack. Photos of the individuals have been made available through the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline, and anyone with information regarding the suspects or the incident is encouraged to call 1-800-577-TIPS (8477) or submit their tips online.
