12-year-old boy reported missing in the Bronx has been found safe

NEW YORK – A 12-year-old boy reported missing by the New York City Police Department was found safely Saturday night.

Initial report:

According to reports, he was last seen leaving his residence on Thursday, April 20, 2023, at approximately 7:00 pm. The young boy is described as being approximately 5’1″ tall, weighing around 100 pounds, with a thin build, brown eyes, and black hair. He was last seen wearing a black jacket and multi-colored sneakers.

The NYC police department has urged anyone with information regarding his whereabouts to contact the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477), or for Spanish, 1-888-57-PISTA (74782). Alternatively, the public can submit tips anonymously online at https://crimestoppers.nypdonline.org/ or on Twitter @NYPDTips.

All information provided will be kept confidential. The police are urging anyone who may have seen Myers or has any information that may help in his safe return to come forward.
