Pile of money

Grafton, OH – Ali Mashrah, a resident of Grafton, Ohio, is now a millionaire after claiming the Classic Lotto jackpot prize of $1.6 million drawn on April 22, 2023. The winning ticket was sold by Schild’s IGA, which will receive a $1,000 sales bonus.

Mr. Mashrah picked his own numbers, 9-12-23-33-43-44, which matched the winning numbers. He opted for the $800,000 cash option prize equivalent, and after federal and state tax withholdings, he will receive a lump sum payment of $576,000. The odds of winning the jackpot prize are 1 in 13.98 million.

This is the second Classic Lotto jackpot prize sold in Ohio in 2023.

The first, a $7.4 million jackpot prize sold at Community Market #240 in Oak Harbor for the April 5 drawing, remains unclaimed. The state of Ohio has seen a total of 26 Classic Lotto jackpot prizes awarded to date.
