Winning Powerball ticket sold in Middlesex County matched 4 of 5 numbers

EDISON, NJ – A New Jersey Lottery player has won a $50,000 second-tier prize in the Powerball drawing held on Saturday, April 29, 2023.

The ticket matched four of the five white balls and the Powerball drawn. The prize was doubled to $100,000 as the ticket was purchased with the Power Play option. The ticket was sold at Raceway Petroleum, located at 641 Route 1 South, Edison in Middlesex County.

The winning numbers for the drawing were 16, 53, 54, 57, and 65. The Red Power Ball number was 08 and the Power Play was 2X. Additionally, 19,956 New Jersey players won a total of $104,063 in prizes ranging from $4 to $200.

The Powerball jackpot for the next drawing to be held on Monday, May 1, at 10:59 pm, has rolled over to $60,000,000.
