Knife-Wielding Robber in Brooklyn Demanded One Dollar

NEW YORK CITY – The NYPD is requesting the public’s help in identifying a suspect involved in a robbery at knifepoint in Brooklyn.

On Monday, at approximately 8:00 p.m., the 55-year-old male victim was entering his residence located in the vicinity of Cornelia Street and Irving Avenue when an unidentified male individual approached him from behind with a knife and demanded a dollar.

When the victim took out his wallet, the male individual then demanded all his money and forcibly removed approximately $200 from his hand.

The male individual then fled on foot to parts unknown. There were no injuries as a result of this incident. The sought individual is described as a male, approximately 25 to 30 years of age, medium build, last seen wearing a gray hoodie sweater, black vest, black pants, and gray sneakers.

The NYPD encourages anyone with information to come forward.
