FALLS TOWNSHIP, PA – The shooting incident that occurred on Monday, March 28, 2023, has been deemed justified this Tuesday by First Assistant District Attorney Jennifer Schorn.

The 20-year-old male subject, who survived the encounter with Falls Township officers, will face charges of felony fleeing and attempting to elude police at a later date.

According to Schorn, the male twice pointed what seemed to be a handgun at officers, creating a clear and present danger to their lives. After he was shot, police discovered that the supposed firearm was a CO2 air gun fashioned to resemble a Glock handgun.

The male underwent surgery for his injuries, and both officers involved have since returned from administrative leave.
