Fatal Shooting of 15-year-old on SEPTA Bus Prompts Citywide Manhunt

PHILADELPHIA, PA – Last Wednesday, at about 10:51 pm, a fatal altercation took place on a SEPTA bus near 5200 Germantown Avenue. Randy Mills, a 15-year-old resident of West Sharpnack St, was engaged in a verbal dispute with an unidentified black male.

The argument escalated, and the suspect allegedly shot Mills in the chest. The teen was fatally wounded.

The Philadelphia Police Department is actively seeking assistance to identify the perpetrator. There is also interest in identifying a person captured in a related video, along with any other potential witnesses. The City of Philadelphia is offering a $20,000 reward for any information leading to an arrest and conviction for this homicide.
