Safe with $250k stolen from home in Queens

NEW YORK CITY – In the early morning hours of Monday, May 1, a high-value burglary occurred in Queens, according to the New York City Police Department.

The incident occurred around 2:58 am when two unidentified individuals approached a residence near 202 Street and 28 Avenue. The pair successfully bypassed a locked door and gained entry into the home.

Once inside, they removed a safe containing approximately $50,000 and jewelry worth over $200,000. They subsequently fled the location in an unknown direction.

The residence was unoccupied at the time of the burglary and no injuries were reported. Police are seeking assistance from the public in identifying the individuals depicted in the attached media.
