BALTIMORE, MD- A husband and wife from Calvert County experienced an incredible stroke of luck when they hit a substantial jackpot of $132,989 on the FAST PLAY Home Run Riches game.

The husband, sharing his unique ticket-reading strategy, revealed that he covered up all the prize amounts on his ticket. To his astonishment, he noticed that one of the winning numbers on the ticket matched his chosen number, which was 38.

Recognizing that he had won, the Southern Maryland resident carefully examined all his prize numbers, saving the number 38 for last. As he scrutinized the other 19 numbers, the “Progressive Jackpot” number remained undisclosed.

Overjoyed, the husband immediately contacted his wife, who was at work. “He never calls me at work. I am glad it was good news,” the wife happily remarked.

The couple, who both enjoy playing lottery games, particularly those with higher progressive jackpots, expressed their satisfaction in contributing to the FAST PLAY Home Run Riches jackpot resetting back to $40,000. The husband explained, “Once a jackpot hits, I usually stop playing that game and try to find another with a high jackpot.”

While the fortunate couple has a passion for travel, they have yet to decide how they will utilize their newfound wealth. “It won’t be anything extravagant,” the wife mentioned with a smile.
