Dad wanted for assaulting daughter with beer bottle in Bensalem

BENSALEM, PA – On Monday, at 9:30 pm, Bensalem Police responded to the Red Roof Inn on Street Road for a reported domestic assault.

A 15-year-old girl reported that her father, Juan Vega Figueroa, 35, had struck her in the head with a beer bottle before fleeing the scene, leaving his three children, aged 12, 15, and 16 at the hotel.

Police found 110 baggies of suspected Fentanyl and a loaded, extended semi-automatic handgun magazine in Figueroa’s room.

The children are now in the custody of their grandmother. An arrest warrant has been issued for Figueroa, with charges including Simple Assault, Endangering the Welfare of Children, and related charges.
