NYD investigating assault and robbery in Prospect Heights

BROOKLYN, NY – The New York City Police Department has sought public assistance in identifying individuals involved in a robbery in Propect Heights.

The incident unfolded on Monday, June 5, around 1:45 am.

The victim, a 38-year-old man, reported that while walking in front of 161 South Elliott Place, he was accosted by six unidentified individuals.They assaulted the victim and stole his cell phone and backpack before fleeing northbound on South Elliott Place on foot. The man sustained minor injuries but refused medical attention.
