Woman Attacked at Subway Station, One Arrested

QUEENS, NY – On Monday, a 46-year-old woman was assaulted at the Rockaway Boulevard “A” train station. The New York City Police Department reported that the woman was involved in a verbal dispute with a group of individuals, one of whom kicked her in the face. When she attempted to call 911, three other individuals attacked her. One individual, Jenniah Johnson, a 19-year-old female from 142-29 Rockaway Boulevard, was apprehended by responding officers.

The victim was transported to Jamaica Hospital Medical Center in stable condition. Charges against Johnson include assault and criminal mischief. The department is still seeking information on the other three individuals, who were seen fleeing eastbound on Liberty Avenue.
