Two injured in gunfire in Brooklyn

NEW YORK CITY, NY – The New York City Police Department requests public assistance to identify an individual linked to an assault that took place on Friday in Brooklyn at approximately 4:10 pm. An unidentified male discharged a firearm, striking two victims in front of 9413 5 Avenue before fleeing.

A 21-year-old female sustained a gunshot wound to her right thigh, and a 24-year-old male was struck once in his right arm. Both victims were transported to NYU Langone Hospital-Brooklyn and are reported to be in stable condition.

The suspect is described as a male, dark complexion, approximately 20 to 25 years of age, medium build, last seen wearing an all-dark blue tracksuit, white and red sneakers, and a black ski mask.
