Woman Shot Multiple Times And Killed In D.C.

WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Washington, D.C. Metro Police Department is investigating the shooting of an adult woman last night in Northeast, D.C.

Just before 10:30 pm, officers arrived at the 700 Block of 19th Street to investigate a report of a shooting. At the location, police discovered the woman suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. The victim was not conscious or breathing. After all life-saving measures failed, the victim was pronounced dead at the scene.

The identity of the victim has not been released at this time. Police are on the lookout for an Orange Dodge Charger linked to the shooting.
