Two shot in Roxbury Saturday morning

BOSTON, MA – The Boston Police Department reported a shooting incident that occurred in the early hours of Saturday. Responding to a distress call at 12:12 AM, officers from District B-2 (Roxbury) arrived at 27 McGreevey Way to find two adult males suffering from gunshot wounds.

Both victims were promptly transported to local hospitals. One of the victims, identified as 30-year-old Nelson Jose Curet from Roxbury, was later pronounced dead. The second victim’s injuries were reported as non-life-threatening. Homicide detectives are currently reviewing the facts surrounding this incident and asked anyone with information to contact them at (617) 343-4470.
