Bank Robbery Under Investigation in Netcong

NETCONG, NJ – Morris County Prosecutor’s Office, Netcong Borough Police Department, and various other law enforcement agencies are currently investigating a bank robbery that occurred on Friday, in Netcong Borough. The Fulton Bank on 9 Ledgewood Avenue was reportedly robbed at approximately 10:12 AM.

The suspect, believed to be a white or Hispanic male in his 20s or 30s, entered the bank and demanded money without displaying or threatening the use of a weapon. The individual fled the scene with an estimated $14,000 in U.S. currency. He was last seen wearing a red hooded sweatshirt, a blue surgical-style mask, and carrying a shoebox-sized box.
