Car Thief Returns Stolen Baby to scene of Crime

BOSTON, MA – On Friday, at around 2:55 pm, Boston Police officers received a report of a kidnapping at Geneva Ave. and Leroy St. in Dorchester.

The suspect, described as a heavy-set, light-skinned Hispanic male, stole a truck with an infant inside from the mentioned location.

The suspect later returned to 430 Geneva Ave., leaving the infant on the sidewalk before fleeing again in the stolen vehicle. The infant was safely reunited with their parents, and Boston EMS responded to evaluate the child’s condition.

An hour later, the stolen truck was located at 156 Columbia Rd. by the Boston Police Department. The department’s detectives are actively investigating the incident.
