RINGOES, NJ – A joint investigation by the Hunterdon County Prosecutor’s Office and the Raritan Township Police Department led to the arrest of Ron Rothman, 49, from Ringoes, New Jersey.

He has been charged with multiple counts of Endangering the Welfare of a Child and Invasion of Privacy.

The investigation began on March 17, when a juvenile female reported that Rothman had filmed her in a changing room at a retail store in Raritan Township.

Additional content depicting the sexual exploitation of unidentified children was found on Rothman’s phone. Rothman was arrested at his residence on Monday, where investigators also seized computer hard drives and other equipment.

Rothman is currently being held at the Warren County Correctional Center. His first court appearance is scheduled for Tuesday.
