ABSECON, NJ – The city of Absecon has announced a shift in its Emergency Medical Services (EMS) following the closure of the private entity that had been providing EMS services for the past 15 years.
In response to the closure, the City has secured alternative services to ensure the continued high standard of EMS service to the residents.
Beginning next week, the Galloway Township EMS, who currently provides Absecon with dispatch services, will also handle EMS services. This change comes as part of the city’s plan to maintain seamless emergency medical response during the transition period.
Meanwhile, the Absecon Police Department reaffirms its commitment to the safety and health of residents. The Department will continue to respond to medical emergencies, providing first aid, CPR, and other necessary medical assistance.
The Department asked the community members to remain vigilant and proactive in contributing to the safety and security of the city.
