Arrest Made in Deadly Domestic Stabbing in Buffalo

BUFFALO, NY – The Buffalo Police Department announced that on Sunday, a fatal stabbing occurred in a domestic dispute.

The incident took place in the area of Gerhardt and Northampton Streets around 5 p.m.

Upon their arrival, Ferry-Fillmore district officers found a male victim suffering from stab wounds. Despite their efforts to render aid, the victim succumbed to his injuries at ECMC.

The response of the homicide detectives led to the identification and capture of a suspect. Teiyahna Bivens, 21, of Buffalo, has been charged with Manslaughter in the First Degree, a class B felony.

The victim was identified as a 23-year-old male from Buffalo.
