Individual Sought for Grand Larceny in Brooklyn

NEW YORK CITY, NY – The New York City Police Department seeks public assistance in identifying and locating an individual connected to a grand larceny incident.

The incident took place on Tuesday, July 18, around 9:40 pm, when a 21-year-old male was walking near 284 Penn Street.

The victim was approached by an unknown male on a bicycle who took the victim’s hat and fled the scene. The victim was not injured during the incident.

The perpetrator is described as a male, approximately 30 to 40 years old, last seen wearing a gray T-shirt and light-colored shorts.

The Hate Crime Task Force of the New York City Police Department is conducting the investigation.
