Early Monday morning at around 2:00 am, the off-duty New York City employee was arrested and charged within the jurisdiction of the 107th Precinct in Queens.

According to city records, Espinal began his tour with Brooklyn’s 88th Precinct in May after serving as a specialized training officer. He does not appear to have any negative marks on his service record as an officer.
