Dog Shot and Killed During Daily Walk with Owner

BALTIMORE, MD – Detectives are seeking help in identifying a suspect in connection with an animal cruelty case that occurred in the 1300 block of North Cary Street.

The unidentified male suspect was seen approaching a woman walking her dog on July 8.

After a brief encounter with the dog, the suspect reportedly fired shots at the dog before fleeing the scene in a white vehicle.

Due to the severity of the injuries, the dog was euthanized.
