Woman Forced to Make ATM Withdrawl During Knifepoint Robbery

NEW YORK, NY – Police in the Bronx are investigating a knifepoint robbery where a woman was forced to make an ATM withdrawal at knifepoint.

On Tuesday, August 1, at around 3:49 PM, a 56-year-old female was walking in front of 555 Grand Concourse when two unidentified individuals approached her.

Working together, they showed a knife and coerced the victim to accompany them to a nearby ATM. At the ATM, the victim withdrew $8,000 from her account, which the individuals took from her.

They also took two rings from the victim before fleeing on foot to an unknown location. Fortunately, the victim did not sustain any injuries during the incident.

The first suspect is described as a male with a light complexion, approximately 35 to 45 years old, and approximately 5’8″ tall with a slim build. He was last seen wearing a black jacket and black pants.

The second suspect is a female with a light complexion, approximately 35 to 45 years old, and approximately 5’6″ tall with a heavy build.
