RAHWAY, NJ – On Wednesday, Naomi Gilles, 18, and a 17-year-old male were arrested in Rahway on charges of attempted murder and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.

The arrests come after an investigation into a shooting on the 600 block of Cleveland Ave on Sunday, January 22.

The victim reported that as he was leaving his driveway, shots were fired at his vehicle. No injuries occurred.

Police Chief David Hart expressed his commitment to investigating these “senseless crimes,” ensuring community safety.

However, the charges are accusations, and both suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
